Everyone may be focused on EURO 2012 qualification at the moment, but let’s not forget that the most football-loving nation of them all is ramping up its preparations to host the 2014 World Cup. Artist Neil Stevens creates a wonderful abstract painting, where I see an elucidation on the free-flowing nature of the game, including a footballer constrained by his nation’s colours but also free to express himself. Joga Bonito, or should I say Cria Bonito?
