The Jamie Carragher testimonial match was played at Anfield today of 35,000 fans. The Liverpool centre back and vice-captain played against his boyhood club Everton. Many former stars took part in the game including Michael Owen, Luis Garcia and Jerzy Dudek. Liverpool who played with Gerrard in the first 10 minutes, beat Everton 4-1 with Carragher scoring for both clubs. His Everton goal was probably the cheekiest strike ever seen in front of the legendary The Kop stand.
